    • George W. Lang, 55, of North Andover passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the Kaplan House in Danvers.

He formally resided in Andover for 15 years prior to moving to North Andover in 2014 with his wife and sons. He was born George William Lang, in Leominster, Mass., to Gyorgy J. Lang and the late Eva (Hato) Lang, both from Hungary. He was raised in Burlington, Mass., and graduated from Burlington High School, Class of 1978. He then went on to graduate from Boston College in 1982, and eventually earned his Master's degree from Lesley University a few years later. As a child, he studied his Hungarian culture at a Hungarian school. He learned to speak the language, and made a trip back to his parent's homeland when he was 15.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie (Lisker) Lang of 21 years, and their two cherished sons, Cory, 20, and Joshua, 18. He also leaves behind two sisters, Eva Lang and Margaret Ouellette and her husband, Robert; nephews, Eric Ouellette, David and Evin Williams; niece, Sara Williams; and his father, Gyorgy Lang and his wife, Julie (Kallai) Lang.

George was an avid soccer player, coach, and fan, playing on numerous clubs and teams for more than 40 years. He was completely devoted to his family, and watching his boys play, grow, and mature into masterful, confident players and fine young men. George was a man of great faith, studying the Bible with his Friday morning men's group from Free Christian Church, attending Sunday mass at St. Augustine's. He had the life changing experience of living his cursillo at Saint Basils Salvatorian Center in Methuen, and was a supporter of The Lazarus House Ministries in Lawrence.

George worked for more than 20 years in the field of computer security. He was employed by RSA in Bedford, Mass., for 20 years, and was currently employed by Guidepoint Security of Reston, Va. He truly loved his work, and was an inspiration and mentor to so many people along the way. He was passionate about his job, incredibly proud of his sons, devoted to his wife, loyal friend to many, and was a man of great integrity.
