      96, of Norris, Tenn., former women's editor of The Post, died Tuesday.

      Mrs. Henle was the women's editor of The Post in the 1920s. She quit when she married Maurice Henle, who was city editor of The Post, in 1930.

      They moved to Knoxville, Tenn., in 1936 and to Norris in 1936. He died in 1970. She was editor and publisher of the North Bulletin, a weekly newspaper at Norris, from 1948 to 1985.

      Mrs. Henle was a graduate of the College and Academy of the Sacred Heart in Clifton. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Norris.

      She leaves two daughters, Pat Henle of Atlanta and Mary Jane Jay of Tabb, Va.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
