Survived by his wife of 25 years, Norma; sons, Dr. Robert (Marlene) Betts of Pickerington, OH and James (Sue) Betts of Reynoldsburg, OH; daughter, Elaine (Dr. James) Buehler of Sapphire, NC; step-children, Gary (Donna) Stillman of The Colony, TX, Donna (Bill) D'Avignon of Holiday, FL and Nancy (Gene) Clark of Louisville, KY; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Member of Columbia Heights United Methodist Church. World War II veteran who served in the South Pacific in the US Navy.
