    • Susan H. (Hobbs) DiBenedetto, 76, of Weston, died peacefully surrounded by the care and love of her family on Friday, December 9, 2022 following a period of declining health.

      She was born in Albany, New York on August 6, 1946 the daughter of the late Samuel L. Hobbs and Ruth T. (Wolf) Hobbs.

      Susan was the devoted mother of Christopher P. DiBenedetto of Weston and Patricia M. Cullen and her husband Bob of Westford. Cherished grandmother of Payson DiBenedetto, Jake Cullen, Carter DiBenedetto, Mia Cullen and Chase DiBenedetto. Sister of Ruth Taft "Taffi" (Hobbs) Cox Villa Hughes and her husband Jim of Boylston and Dave Hobbs and his wife Beverly of Eastham. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Joseph DiBenedetto who died August 30, 2021.

      Susan spent her formative years in Shrewsbury and was a resident of Weston for over 47 years. She was a member of the Newton Elks Lodge BOP 1327.

      She was a graduate of the Peter Bent Brigham School of Nursing. Susan was a nurse at the Campion Center, a Jesuit nursing home in Weston, for over 20 years followed by a career with the Department of Public Health as a nursing home investigator.

      Susan treasured the time spent with family and enjoyed attending the sports and activities of her grandchildren.

      Interment in the DiBenedetto family lot in Linwood Cemetery in Weston.
